I am responsible along with a committed team for organising the Late Night Shopping Event in December each year. This event has now evolved over the past 25 years to become hugely successful and has contributed a lot of money to good causes. It brings the people of Lewes along with visitors to the town together and enjoy some last minute shopping at many of the towns fantastic shops. We start arranging this event around May of each year and we are constantly thinking of new ways to improve and develop you Late Night Shopping experience.
This year the event will take place on Thursday 4th December, and we will be raising money for groups working with young people in Lewes in the performing arts – drama, music, dance, singing, circus and so on. If you would like to be involved, or know of any performing arts groups that would like to provide entertainment on the night or who would like to apply to us for grant money, please let me know.
